New Adult Romance
**Due to language & sexual situations, recommended for readers 18+ yr.

An ex is an ex for a reason...

To Rebecca Winters, it’s not just a saying or the title to a catchy tune, it’s a rule she staunchly lives by.  Especially since the breakup with her ex.  What’s the point in trying to fix the “unfixable”?  Besides, only a girl hell-bent on more heartbreak would go back to the guy who bailed on her when she needed him most.  But saying no to Scott is becoming more difficult than surviving the breakup itself.  And unfortunately for her, the kind of pressure he's exerting is making her rule all too easy to break.

Scott Carver has given up trying to get over his ex.  He’s still in love with her and their year apart has done nothing to change that.  Yeah, he knows he screwed up.  Just how royally, he wasn't aware of until now.  So when Becca agrees to give him a second chance, he grabs on to it with both hands.  But it’s clear the only way things will ever truly be right between them is if he comes clean…about everything.  He can only pray the truth doesn’t send her running—for good this time. My Thoughts –

All Over You is a steamy, quick, wicked good tale about forgiveness and second chances.

I truly enjoyed Scott and Becca.  I liked reading about their history and their present.  I really liked the personalities of them both.  Their chemistry is intense and it’s wicked hot when it finally does happen.  Sure there were times when I felt like throttling both of them, but then they’d redeem themselves somehow and it was all good.

Like I said, this is a really quick read.  For the most part the grammar and writing is great.  It’s east to read and flows well.  Great job, I look forward to more from this author.

Summary –

“There would be no happy ending for us. He was too damaged. I was too broken.”

Two years ago, Lorrie’s mother was murdered. But that wasn’t the end of it. Reeling from the tragedy, Lorrie’s father spiraled into alcohol, depression, and finally suicide.

The two most important people in Lorrie’s life are both gone but she’s still alive.

Trying to recover from the tragedy, Lorrie returns to campus, ready to pick up the pieces of her life. All Lorrie wants is to get back to “normal.”

Then she meets Hunter. The man, the legend, “the Hammer.”

Hunter is a cage fighter who takes on every fight like he’s got nothing to lose. His life is a tangled mess of girls, booze, and fist fights. And while it may seem like he’s got a devil-may-care attitude, he’s fighting a private cage-match with a monster he can’t defeat.

Lorrie knows that Hunter is the exact type of guy she should stay away from, especially in her fragile state, but Hunter has other ideas.

As Hunter and Lorrie grow closer together, will they be able to overcome their pain and heal each other? Or will they both end up wrecked?

My Thoughts –

My initial reaction: Goddamn Korean ending...

That said, I really enjoyed this story.  It was well constructed, fast paced and easy to read.  The ending made me want to throw my Nook across the room, but the rest of the story was great.

I enjoyed the characters of Lorrie and Hunter.  I thought their chemistry was off the charts and so were their “scenes”.  I also enjoy the aspect of the cage fighting, it just soooooo hot!!

This story is chalked full of angst, self-doubt and smexy hot lovin’.  All my favorite characteristics of a NA novel.  My issue is the ending.  Seriously – Korean ending.  Ugh.  Other than that, great job to the author for making me react so strongly towards this couple’s HEA, or not so HEA...can’t wait for the rest of this story!!
