Q. What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.)
I say swords, but my husband and his friends say guns. Guns, guns and more guns. My problem with guns is that you can run out of ammo. Swords are a never-ending source of annihilation. Zombies stop going after you cut their head off; they can keep going after you shoot them. "Lasers" would be even better, but only if you didn't have to worry about recharging them.
As for Mel Gibson - the only movies I ever really liked with him in them are Maverick and What Women Want. I could care less either way really, I never thought he was all that to begin with.
Stopping by to say hi. I'm a new follower. I have to agree with you the swords sounds like a better choice to me. Besides carrying all that amo could get really heavy.

But swords can rust! Which is why my weapon of choice is a metal baseball bat.

As the saying goes – the best defense is a good offense. I’ve got that covered! My preparations for the zombie apocalypse are not just intricate, they’re stylish. I’m not talking “last stand” stuff here. I mean to lure in the zombies and slaughter them wholesale while we sip champagne and watch.
ReplyDeleteHow am I going to do that? Follow me back to my blog at http://www.howardsherman.net and read all about it.
Thank G-d it’s Follow Friday!

I would say BOTH! Hit 'em with the guns, then when you run out of ammo, slash at them with the swords! LOL!
