Summary –

"You're with the right person when no matter how bad things get, you'd still rather be with them than anywhere else..."

RIDLEY WELLS HAS NO idea what to do with her life now that she's graduated from college. But when a friend is murdered and her apartment is trashed, she runs to the only person she trusts, her twin sister. No one will think to look for her in the rinky-dink Virginia town of New Haven.

Of course, her luck lands her passed out in the grass in front of resident bad boy, music producer Jackson Alexander. Strike 1!

Then she realizes Raina's out of the country and she has nowhere else to go. Strike 2!

So when the handsome producer with the platinum smile mistakes her for her sister, she gets an idea.

Where better to hide than in plain sight?

WARNING: This book contains cloak and dagger intrigue, family drama, brothers fighting, supermodels with attitude and hot sex between people who can't keep their hands off each other. Just saying... (Thanks to GoodReads.com for the summary)

My Thoughts –

This is a great story. I like the twists and turns it makes and also the ups and downs. This is really the story of Jackson and Ridley and the introduction to Nick and Raina. I enjoyed the dynamics of all of the characters in this wicked hot roller-coaster of a story.

We start out with Ridley basically on the run, possibly from the mob. She goes to her famous sister’s house and can’t get in. Frustrated, she stumbles through the woods and happens upon Jackson’s children. She’s mistaken for Raina and never really corrects their assumptions as to her real identity.

Ridley is a good character. She’s got a beautiful, famous twin sister – but has no self-confidence. She doesn’t believe enough in herself and I wanted to slap her a few times. Jackson is hella awesome! He’s a great dad, a music producer/song writer and has a great family. He takes in Ridley under the guise of her being Raina. The chemistry between the two is taut and wicked frickin’ hot.

The truth comes out and after what looks like an incriminating incident committed by Ridley, she goes back to her sister’s house. Bad guys show up, people get shot and what happened between Nick and Raina is exposed…or is it?

This was easy to read, had modern language and dialogue and was fast paced. An all-around great read! Great job, I look forward to more from this author.
