Fitting…it could have had a bit more singing.

Ella – pushover, Cole – wonderful, David – selfish

Give the book an alternate ending…or were you happy with it? 

I think I would have gone a bit farther into the future.  It was great the way it did end though.

Did you cry, laugh, sigh, cringe, fume or feel nothing?

Sighed, cringed, swooned and sighed some more.  I might have seethed a bit too.

Fever is a turbulent story of love, trust and growth.  I enjoyed reading about Ella, David and Cole. 

Ella and Cole have such an immediate connection he first time they meet.  Then they meet, but don’t know it, on opposite sides of a wall in a communal shower and sing together.  They have such an intense chemistry, you just really want everything to work out for these two.  I really enjoyed seeing this couple’s relationship and love grow for one another over an extended period of time.  Sure it was an instant kind of thing, but not really since she was already taken. 

Speaking of that, good riddance to David.  He was selfish, inconsiderate and just a total douchbag.  I cannot believe Ella allowed herself to be treated in such a way.  The remarks here and there, the choosing of the restaurant due to gluten issues and not really spending any time with her are just some of the example of his mega-douchebaggery.  He can take his plan and shove it.

I felt this was well paced, written well (with little to no grammatical errors) and was easy to follow.  I’m convinced I have to rad book #2 in the series – great job Melissa Pearl!!
