My Thoughts: 

3/5 - I really enjoyed this quick novella.  The characters are compelling enough you want to know what happened and what happens to them and the story line is interesting.  I like the idea of Thorne being like a demi-god.  I usually don't like a lot of world building, but I think I would have liked more here.  This 'serial' is just way too short and I want more.  I'm definitely looking forward to more of the series.
