Book Blogger Hop 6/24/2011

Book Blogger Hop

“When did you realize reading was your passion and a truly important part of your life?”

Only in the last few years really.  I used to read just to get myself to sleep, but reading developed into a much more time consuming habit not shortly after.  I still have to red to get to sleep, now I read for hours instead of minutes.  I don't watch much TV or very many movies.  I like to read instead; I always have something to read with me - ALWAYS.  If I have to wait at a doctor's office, I whip out my book/Nook, if I have to wait in a long line at the grocery store -= book, if i have to wait a long time int he drive-thru = book.  I'm almost always reading.

  1. Hi,
Hopping through and I grabbed your badge and am a new follower. I've been taking books with me for so long I can't even remember when I started. Check out my answer at brendayoungerman.blogspot.com

  2. I have been an avid reader since my childhood. We lived in a rual area and it was a 30 minute drive to girls my age. I learned at a young age to entertain myself. Like you, I always have something with me to read.

  3. When did I first realize I loved reading? I wish I could prove a pre-natal predilection towards books but my memories don’t stretch back quite that far.

The earliest memories I can recall involved books. First having them read to me then reading them on my own the minute I had the ability.

Books have been a major part of my life ever since. My passion for the written word knowing no bounds, I started writing books on top of reading them about ten years ago.

Want to know what my favorite childhood book was? Hop on over to my blog and find out: http://www.howardsherman.net

  4. Hopping through. I'm always reading too. I have trouble focusing on TV or movies and usually can't make it through a show without doing something else.
