Review: Tangled Past - Leah Braemel

Tangled Past (Tangled)Tangled Past by Leah Braemel

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When Sarah meets Jackson and Nate for the first time, she feels something she’s never felt before in her life: hope. After over hearing her step father and his men planning to steal back the horses they just sold to Jackson and Nate, she makes a daring attempt to warm them. What she sees when she finds them captivates and excites her.

After Sarah is found in a compromising situation with the two men, her step father declares that she’s ruined and one of the men must marry her – which neither has a problem with, since they’re both drawn to her as well as each other.

Jackson lets Sarah and Nate live him while they save money to build their own house. He wishes he could have married Sarah instead and misses Nate like crazy. After fighting his attraction to Sarah and his need for Jackson, Nate proposes a fix – a ménage relationship. After lots of hesitation, doubts, some danger and some hot, hot lovin’ there is a HEA.

I enjoyed this story quite a bit. Sarah is a great character. She’s strong, passionate and open-minded. Nate and Jackson are hot, fierce and wicked. I love the chemistry between Nate and Jackson and the deep love you can feel between them. The relationship between Jackson and Sarah is special as well and I could really see the love they have for each other. The sensual situations in this story are off the hook smokin’ hot! The tension between the three of them before they all get together is thick and tense. The action/danger element is also interesting and well written. The writing is fluid, easy to read and just plain good.
