Review: Lure of the Wicked - Karina Cooper

Lure of the Wicked (Dark Mission, #2)Lure of the Wicked by Karina Cooper

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Naomi is a secret agent of the Holy Order. She sent to Timeless, a spa owned by Phinneas, to find a rogue agent and bring him to justice. Naomi searches the compound, looking for the rogue and any signs that Phin might be in on it. She didn’t expect to fall in love in the process. With some help form an unexpected source, Naomi defeats the rogue – but in the process becomes the very thing the Holy Order is bent on ratifying.

This was an excellent story. I really tried to wait to read it until I got the first book, but I couldn’t. The characters were great, the story was easy to read and it was captivating. So much action, such perilous danger and so many secrets. Naomi and Phin’s chemistry was smokin’ hawt! The world the author has created is very unique and does not disappoint. My only issue was that there was no real HEA, just a kind-of/sort-of HEA, and I like strong HEA’s. Great story, I definitely recommend and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!

  1. I liked this one so much more than Blood of the Wicked! So don't feel bad that you read this one first. :)
